As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and routing of vehicles and personnel to ensure timely deliveries and services. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule routes for drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency.
Monitor and track vehicle locations using GPS and dispatch software.
Communicate with drivers to provide updates and address any issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and vehicle maintenance.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in dispatching or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Valid CA drivers License
