Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: San Mateo, CA.
Great Pay to $63K
Immediate need for a Dispatcher seeking to work for a shuttle transportation company. The Dispatcher is responsible for supporting safe, proper shuttle operations through scheduling, employee communication, dispatching, and shift management.
Responsibilities:
-Professionally assist customers and employees over the phone and in-person by answering any questions they may have.
-Direct the customer to the Facility/Operations Manager for further assistance.
-Report any known accidents, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility/Operations Manager
-Facilitate monthly driver meetings, company training requirements, and changes to daily operating procedures.
-Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of field operations, thorough knowledge of all Airport terminals and the major streets, landmarks and freeways in area.
-Coordinate driver activities and shuttle assignments to resolve service issues and minimize overtime, downtime, and shuttle backups.
-Complete attendance trackers and verify that drivers are following company policy with driving routes of all airport terminals.
-Ensure that customers’ needs are being met in a prompt and professional manner and escalate issues (late dispatch, breakdown, other service failures) to managers.
-Reassign routes as needed to solve service issues and ensure that drivers are logging
in and communicating their location to dispatcher at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
-Prior knowledge or experience with shuttle driving, dispatched transportation operations, scheduling.
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Available to work 4 days swing shift (3pm-midnight) and 1 day graveyard shift (11pm-8am)
