Premier established elevator company is seeking highly qualified senior elevator mechanic to service the central Florida region, including Polk, Volusia and Orange counties. Ideal candidate will be experienced with home and commercial elevator installation, maintenance and repair. Non-union position with great pay and benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
• Install, maintain, and repair elevator doors, cables, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with elevator operation.
• Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance of elevators and other vertical transportation systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
• Communicate with management, team members, and clients professionally.
• Stay informed of new technology and techniques in elevator service.
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of elevator mechanic experience
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certified Elevator Technician Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 pounds.
