JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing routine engineering tasks, works closely with Manufacturing and Production Engineers to support engineering projects. Provides support for material review board (MRB), manufacturing process analysis, and maintenance of engineering documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Documentation - Efficiently & accurately creates work instructions, rework instructions, ERP transactions.
• Pursues continued education in order to grow knowledge of B&B and industry manufacturing processes.
• MRB Process - Verifies and investigates quality rejections using problem solving and analysis tools. Gathers detailed information related to rejections, Performs containment.
• Performs minor rework and touch up as directed.
• Redline work orders, process paperwork
• Assists in Engineering activities.
• Performs Data collection on manufacturing processes
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of manufacturing related experience and/or engineering specific education
• Manufacturing Knowledge - Basic understanding of processes related to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Inspection techniques and processes o Review Inspection reports o Usage of Inspection tools (Micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Basic understanding of Blueprint Reading
• Computer and Software skills o Review Data & Spreadsheets o Microsoft Office Suite
• Mathematics – Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry (Shop Math)
• Collaborates in a cross-functional team, uses effective communication skills – written and verbal.
• Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
• Thinking Creatively — Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, systems, or products – solve problems in different ways.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving — Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options. Willing to use a hands-on approach.
• Attention to detail – records information in an organized way
