Description Summary:
The Engineering Job Captain is responsible for producing computer generated Architectural /
Engineering drawings and documentation needed for project approvals. Work is reviewed by the Director of Operations to determine general progress, technical competence and adherence to pertinent policies and regulations.
Specific Responsibilities and Functions
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
• 5-7 years of Architectural and Engineering AutoCAD experience with 1-2 years of modular building experience.
• AutoCAD credential / degree or experience with Architectural and Engineering methodology.
• The ability to work with other inter-office departments for project related information.
• Communications skills necessary for interaction with all team members; coordinating project information and drawings as needed for all relevant approvals.
• Managing projects with little supervision.
• Other duties as directed.
