We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mailroom Assistant to support our company's mail operations. This entry-level position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing packages, and assisting with other clerical tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
Prepare and send outgoing mail, including processing postage and ensuring proper labeling.
Maintain an organized mailroom and track deliveries to ensure timely distribution.
Assist employees with mail-related inquiries and package tracking.
Operate office equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and printers.
Maintain records of shipments and deliveries for tracking purposes.
Handle sensitive documents with confidentiality and professionalism.
Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
