I work with a commercial/residential landscaping company in Costa Mesa and they are in need out 2 Outside Sales Reps with estimating experience. Prior experience in outdoor landscaping is highly preferred. This will be a direct hire opportunity, starting at $60k + bonus/commission. Applicants should have a strong background in sales, be very motivated, and possess a proven track record of
establishing and retaining customer service-based relationships and interactions. Computer skills are a must -
including, but not limited to Microsoft Office & Teams, communication via email interactions, Adobe E-sign and
spreadsheet reporting. This is a travel / hybrid position, home office based in Costa Mesa. Experience in
the Landscape / Construction industry, estimating and knowledge of the Orange County region is highly
important to the success of this position. Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to use vehicle for
travel.
Job Description and Duties:
• Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business and expand customer base
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and lead generation
• Visit prospective client’s home property to assess scope of work and opportunities for contracting work
• Obtain site surveys and measurements
• Work alongside internal team staff, communicating updates and statuses of prospective projects / clients
• Estimate and procure proposals for residential construction contracts
• Present designs and / or services to prospective customers
• Oversee scheduling of sales calls, and in-office related work via Microsoft Outlook & Teams applications
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products or services
• Seek opportunities for building additional leads and business by attending networking events and online bid
opportunity platforms
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, as our company’s strongest lead
• Source is repeat clientele and word of mouth referrals
• Provide and encourage a positive working environment
• Record keeping of potential client interactions and status of leads, as well as job duties performed
• Communicate and interact with project manager when construction is in process to ensure that client
commitments are being met an addressed
• Office reporting for applicable expenses and site costs
• Monday – Friday schedule, some weekends as needed for client appointments

• Proficient in Excel and other computer applications
Compensation:
• $60,000 base salary + bonus structure, DOE
