About Us:
We are a fast-paced law firm located in Seattle, seeking a highly organized and motivated Paralegal to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters and support a team of attorneys in providing top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Assist in trial preparation and research, including locating and organizing evidence
• Maintain and organize client files (physical and digital)
• Manage legal calendars and deadlines, ensuring compliance with court schedules
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties regarding case progress
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials by assembling case files and exhibits
• Handle routine legal correspondence and documentation
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• 2+ years of paralegal experience (preferably in civil litigation or family law)
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent degree (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
• Familiarity with court filing systems and legal research databases
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with e-filing systems
• Knowledge of trial prep and discovery processes
• Bilingual (Spanish, preferred but not required)
