Multinational banking company is seeking a Financial Recovery Specialist to manage complex and sensitive customer issues within our recovery department. This is a non-customer-facing role with a primary focus on case review within Credit Card.

Responsibilities:
• Manage complex and sensitive customer issues such as estate care resolution (life events), remediations, and settlements.
• Assess wide-ranging customer circumstances, conduct extensive research, and determine appropriate courses of action.
• Manage and support the control step within the recovery department.
• Serve as the last stop in the settlement review process.
• Focus primarily on case review within the Credit Cards department
• Document and communicate findings effectively
• Manage stakeholder relationships with customers, family members, legal representatives, and business partner.


Requirements:
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Desired Experience:
• Proficiency in root cause analysis.
• Understanding of credit cards
• Experience in payment research.
• Exposure to litigation, specifically civil procedure.
• Familiarity with partnering with 3rd party law firms.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness.
• Background in an enterprise/corporate environment.
• Experience with EXCEL is highly valuable in this role.
