Construction company in Los Angeles (90012) is looking for a Full charge bookkeeper. Construction & lien release experience is preferred but client is opening to teaching that portion if needed. The position will be temporary for a few months. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Description:
We are looking for a multi-talented bookkeeper/office assistant who is eager to start working. If you are a bookkeeper with 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, working knowledge of QuickBooks, a strong work ethic, fantastic communication skills, and familiarity with construction accounting. then you are a great fit.

" Familiar With two-way accounts payable invoice matching.
" Accounts payable invoice data entry.
" Send invoice for approval to Foreman.
" Request monthly statements for any missing invoices.
" Reconcile Vendor account for accuracy.
" Generate weekly AP check run report for approval by the controller.
" Post all incoming payments to open invoices.
" Requesting monthly Lien Release (Client will teach you this if you don't have Lien release experience)
" Producing a lien release report
" Maintain accurate records of all construction documents and correspondence.
" COI
" Construction Administration, answering phones.
" Copying, printing, scanning, labeling
" Picking up checks, paperwork, plans, and miscellaneous company needs.

Qualifications:
" Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable,
" Previous experience in a construction environment preferred.
" Must have a basic understanding of QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
" Must have a basic knowledge of accounting.
" Strong organization, analytical, and communication
" Must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
" and have excellent time management skills to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
" Able to identify a need, remove barriers, and know how to make things happen.
