Our client is a a non profit healthcare institution that is looking to a Temporary HR Benefits Representative that has experience in assisting internal employees with Benefits Enrollment, Qualified Life Events, and assisting employees with Open Enrollment.
Basic Purpose and Scope of Position:
The HR Benefits Representative is responsible for administering and managing employee benefits programs, ensuring employees understand their benefits, and providing support for benefits-related inquiries. This role involves coordinating with insurance providers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Principal Activities:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide information about benefits options.
Handle benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records.
Coordinate with insurance providers and other vendors to manage benefits programs.
Conduct benefits orientations and training sessions for new hires.
Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of benefits programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and relevant laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
