Immediate need for a hands-on HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment! We need someone boots on the ground to manage employee relations, leave administration, compliance, safety, and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers
Address workplace concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair treatment
Coach managers on best HR practices and company policies
Promote a transparent and supportive work culture
Leave of Absence (LOA) Management
Handle FMLA, short-term disability, workers' comp, and personal leave requests
Track leave balances and ensure compliance with labor laws
Communicate leave policies and return-to-work plans
Compliance & Safety
Ensure HR policies and labor laws are followed
Support workplace safety initiatives and best practices
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job postings to onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Source and attract top talent using various recruiting channels
Employee Engagement
Drive initiatives to boost morale and retention
Serve as an advocate for employees and workplace culture
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required
- 3+ years of HR experience in employee relations, LOA administration, and
recruiting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, CA labor laws)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) is a plus but not required
