We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by managing various HR functions and ensuring that our workforce operates smoothly and effectively. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with our diverse staff.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Conduct outreach efforts to attract diverse candidates.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and confidential support.
Mediate and resolve conflicts or disputes between employees, fostering a positive work environment.
Conduct regular check-ins with staff to gauge job satisfaction and address any issues proactively.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure compliance with regulations.
Performance Management:
Support the performance review process by providing guidance to supervisors and employees.
Track and monitor performance evaluations, ensuring they are conducted in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities for employee development and training.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as industry standards.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a nonprofit or similar setting.
Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse teams.
