This position is responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring the company complies with federal, state and local laws related to payroll and effectively manages other HR duties. The qualifying candidate must demonstrate their ability to consistently maintain a high level of focused activity and consistently strive to achieve higher levels of performance and efficiency. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. • Maintains or oversees the maintenance of employee records. • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages, and hour laws and best practices. Knowledge in how to do truck driver/bus payroll PROFICIENCIES • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production or related Operations environment preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred; Experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for education • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with people at all levels of an organization Send your resume today to Kim Tate
