Duties:
• Support internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests
• Maintain employee records and generate reports as needed
• Assist with full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding
• Conduct new hire orientations and manage benefits enrollment
• Coordinate new hire and termination documentation to ensure legal compliance
• Manage the HR shared inbox and incoming HR mail
• Escalate employee concerns appropriately to HR management
• Support benefit administration and mandated training coordination
• Help process payroll and track leave of absence cases (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADAAA)
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Participate in HR meetings and contribute to various departmental projects
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with knowledge in recruitment, benefits, payroll, and LOA administration
• BA in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• HRCI or SHRM certification preferred
• Understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Experience using HR systems (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
