POSITION SUMMARY
Inside Sales Representatives play a crucial role in generating royalties for songwriters, composers, and publishers. By offering a license to businesses using music, this position reinforces the importance of protecting music performance rights. Successful Inside Sales Representatives leverage their sales expertise and business acumen to establish trust, educate, and illustrate the benefits of licensing. As a member of the Licensing Sales team, the Inside Sales Representative focuses on key metrics to drive results and achieve sales targets.

LOCATION
Nashville, TN office. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, with most team members expected in the office three (3) days a week.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Sell the value of music and licensing services.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Conduct outbound sales calls using call center software as part of the sales process (60-80 calls per day).
Reach out to customers through cold calling.
Provide high-level customer care, as defined by management.
Maintain call quality standards in all customer interactions.
Validate and update lead information.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills by listening to customer concerns and addressing their needs.
Regularly update internal systems with accurate account information and supporting documentation.
Generate and qualify leads through tele-qualification and CRM systems.
Demonstrate best practices in sales performance and behavior.
Uphold core values while cultivating a culture of diversity and inclusion.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience

Two (2) years of experience in sales and a call center environment preferred.
Familiarity with database management required.
Skills & Abilities

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills to understand and effectively address customer needs.
Skilled in building relationships with a wide variety of individuals.
Confidence and self-assurance in successfully calling customers to close sales.
Experience in transactional sales and selling an intangible product.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Inside Sales, B2B Sales experience.
Adaptable to business changes.
Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks or projects.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9, and Oracle or comparable call center technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Attention to detail.
Salary Range
The base salary for this role will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on internal and external factors. This position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
