We are looking for a self-motivated inside sales representative to sell to the nutritional, food, beverage, feed and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries across North America. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing new sales by cultivating an existing customer base and developing new customer opportunities. The primary focus will be to develop and close new business opportunities for assigned accounts.



Duties & Responsibilities include:

Manage assigned accounts in a professional manner by making outbound sales calls to existing and prospective customers offering the appropriate products, services and training to increase sales.
Working to hit revenue targets and KPI's as set by the sales director.
Enhance customer focus, drive for revenue growth/increased market share.
Target potential customers and assess opportunities for sales.
Communicate with existing and potential customers to update on capabilities of company and push sales of product offerings.
Maintain strong relationships and grow existing customer base (80%).
Cold calling companies and establishing needs to develop net new customer opportunities (20%).
Analyzing competitor activities and assessing opportunities for business development.
Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business.
Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business.
Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:



BA degree or equivalent education
Minimum 1 year of sales or related experience, in the nutritional, food, beverage, feed or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
Ability to apply excellent communication skills, as well as good knowledge of products and market.
Proficiency in MS Office
