Pay: $30-$35/hr
Job Description:
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning solutions across various platforms. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), educators, and teams to design and implement courses that meet both educational and business needs. Your focus will be on creating learner-centered content that is engaging, effective, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand learning objectives, audience needs, and business goals.
• Design, develop, and implement instructor-led, eLearning, and blended learning courses.
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including course modules, assessments, and multimedia content.
• Apply instructional design principles and models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure effective course development.
• Review and revise existing training materials based on feedback and evaluation results.
• Manage the project timeline, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics such as learner feedback, test scores, and performance improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and eLearning technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in instructional design, curriculum development, and eLearning tools.
• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
• Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Dick & Carey).
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing software is a plus.
