We are is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Admin to join our dynamic Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and fostering relationships with warehouses, supporting our operations and sales teams, and overseeing inventory levels and warehouse costing. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will be crucial in ensuring that our department meets its goals while maintaining effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Oversee and generate warehouse purchase orders.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring both minimum and maximum thresholds are met.
Monitor stock levels in various warehouses, ensuring accuracy and availability.
Keep detailed spreadsheets to provide visibility on current inventory and incoming orders.
Expedite and track all domestic orders, addressing any issues related to inaccuracies or delays in shipments.
Manage inventory rotation to guarantee product freshness and quality.
Prepare inventory risk assessments and provide pipeline data to the Executive Team.
Ensure ongoing communication with the Executive Team, management, staff, trucking partners, and warehouses.
Assist in negotiating pricing agreements and contracts with warehouse partners.
Conduct audits of warehouse operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Handle Bills of Lading (BOLs) and maintain warehouse costing logs.
Manage warehouse and inventory claims, as well as Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Complete Corrective Action Reports (CAR) as necessary.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Executive Team.

This position is designed for a self-directed individual who can take initiative while receiving essential guidance, mentoring, and support from supervisors across various functions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in an Inventory Control Admin role or a similar position.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Material Requirements Planning systems.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and follow-through.
Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of tackling challenges.
Familiarity with GreenRope or similar Customer Relationship Management software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Thrives under pressure and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
Capable of managing multiple projects and timelines, prioritizing tasks effectively.
A solid understanding of leadership principles, along with skills in employee development and performance management.
Experience in analyzing and improving operational processes for greater efficiency.
