Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. This role is essential in welcoming prospective residents, showcasing our properties, and guiding them through the leasing process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Greet, qualify, and provide tours to prospective residents, showcasing property features and benefits.
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person to provide accurate information on pricing, availability, and leasing policies.
Assist prospective tenants with rental applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
Maintain knowledge of property offerings, market conditions, and competitor properties.
Follow up with prospective tenants, maintaining contact throughout the leasing process.
Coordinate with property management to ensure timely processing of applications and lease agreements.
Assist with the preparation and execution of lease agreements.
Conduct move-in orientations and ensure residents are informed of community guidelines.
Help manage resident concerns and support retention efforts by delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus.
Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential tenants.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with fair housing laws and local rental market trends.
