Immediate need for a Legal Administrative Assistant seeking a stable, prestigious opportunity working for our client located in Tampa, FL.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant with a focus on litigation.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. iManage experience is a plus.
Duties include, but not limited to:
• Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading and revising legal documents
• Scheduling of Court appearances and depositions; calendaring and docketing
• Experience with efiling documents in Federal and Florida State Courts
• Time entry and client billing
• Maintenance of files and records
• Prepare and submit Cash Disbursement Requests (CDRs) for processing vendor
• invoices in a timely manner; monitor payment of invoices
• Submission of new business intake and conflicts checks
• Scheduling travel, appointments and meetings
• Processing expense statements in a timely manner
• Maintaining attorneys’ calendars and contact lists
