As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team and support our attorneys in delivering outstanding service.

Job Description: As a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to our legal team by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, attorneys, and court personnel. You will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our practice and ensuring that all legal procedures are followed accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare, format, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and contracts. Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, documents, and evidence. Conduct legal research on various case-related issues and prepare reports for attorney review. Coordinate communications between clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances, ensuring all deadlines are met. Assist in the preparation for hearings, trials, and mediations by organizing exhibits and files. Maintain and update databases and case management systems. Draft correspondence, including client updates and court filings. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.

Qualifications: At least 2 years of legal assistant experience or equivalent experience in a legal environment. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. Experience with legal research, document drafting, and file management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and case management software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism. High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Paralegal certification is a plus but not required. Preferred: Experience in specific areas of law (e.g., corporate law, family law, personal injury, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with court rules and filing procedures is highly preferred. Why Join Us?
