Downtown law firm is seeking a legal assistant to work in a busy office. Candidates would handle intake calls from individuals who have been deeply impacted by the recent fires. This role requires a high level of sensitivity and empathy,

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare client correspondence per established communication plan and communicate regularly with clients, both proactively and on demand.
-Serve as the day to day point of contact for clients.
- Knowledgeably and efficiently acquire vital case details.
-Handle client inquires.
-Data Entry
-Troubleshoot and resolve client issues and concerns
-Document and update client records based on interactions

Requirements:
- Law off ice experience
-Proficient in Excel
-Experience with client interaction
-Experience with telephonic support
-Strong technical skills and willing to leverage technology within every day practice in order to work efficiently and effectively to support the team.
-Ability to work on multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize duties and meet deadlines
-Ability to think and act independently and handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
-Must be a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills who works well across the organization
-Must possess excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills
-Proactive and highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Law experince a plus
