Seeking a reliable and dedicated Legal Assistant for a insurance defense and medical malpractice law firm in Jacksonville, FL!

Salary: $60-65k
M-F schedule
Direct Hire + Full benefit package
100% onsite role

Within this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of legal support duties and delivering high-quality services to internal and external clients, exhibiting commitment to integrity and excellence. The scope of responsibilities include prioritizing, managing and following through on multiple projects, and communicating effectively, courteously and professionally with clients, attorneys, and peers.

Responsibilities:
Scheduling
Organizing and maintaining file materials
Calendaring deadlines, hearings, mediations and appeals
Preparing legal correspondence and other documents
Discovery
Working with experts
Trial preparation

Requirements:
3+ years of experience within Litigation defense experience with a focus on medical malpractice
Demonstrated ability to work under strict deadlines
Ability to manage and reprioritize work daily
Must be able to work effectively in a busy team-oriented environment as well as independently
Excellent time/task management skills
