Are you a great communicator who enjoys keeping things organized and moving forward? We’re hiring a Legal Receptionist to join a busy legal office in Tampa, FL! This is a front-desk role with a focus on phone-based communication, data entry, and follow-ups related to legal claims. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and confident on the phone, this is your opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Answer and route incoming calls; 60% of your day will be spent on the phone
Make outbound calls to insurance companies to gather or provide updates on claims
Perform light data entry and help with check logging and invoice tracking
Send out form letters and monitor responses
Retrieve claim data from client software (photos, damage info, police reports)
Log all communications and activity related to each claim
Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and team members
Assist with basic accounting tasks like reconciling invoices
Who We’re Looking For:
A strong communicator who is comfortable making and receiving calls throughout the day
Someone with great attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic proficiency with computers and typing; experience with invoicing or billing is a plus
Prior legal office experience is helpful but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
