Immediate need for a Discovery Clerk/Legal Aide. The position can become remote, but MUST LIVE IN THE SF BAY AREA and come in to Novato the first day for training. Prepare written responses to civil pre-trial discovery for personal injury cases. Prepare written evaluations with recommendations to supervising attorney and partners based on research of the case and knowledge of the defendant. Read through volumes of deposition testimony and various other documents to obtain and analyze relevant information needed for discovery responses. Bachelor's Degree required. Ideal candidate will be a law school student or someone applying to law school, who can work full-time. Interest in the legal field, prior law firm experience a plus. Computer proficiency and word processing skills required; Type 65+ wpm, experience using WordPerfect a plus. Employees must be fully vaccinated.
