Legal Intake Specialist job summary
Our expanding law firm (lemon law and personal injury) is looking for a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! In this role, you will engage with potential clients, showing empathy as you gather details about their cases, manage the onboarding process for new clients, handle data entry, and assist our attorneys with scheduling and appointment management. •Flexible work hours, either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
•Parking provided
•Pay – $25-$28 per hour (Must have lemon law experience)
Legal Intake Specialist responsibilities:
•Evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and making sure they feel seen and heard
•Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep our lawyers’ schedules organized and grow our caseload
•Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently
•Work with marketing to collaborate on outbound sales tactics and partnerships with other law firms to help bring in new cases
•Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency
•Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
•Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers’ calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation
•Assist with case management by creating and maintaining case files, including producing and editing transcripts when needed
•Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails to lawyers
Required skills and qualifications
•Experience working in a fast-paced environment and strong multi-tasking capabilities
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent attention to detail
•Ability to take constructive criticism and follow directions
•Strong organizational skills
•Previous experience working with Google Workspace
•Bilingual in Spanish
•Associates degree
Preferred skills and qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
•Previous experience working with Filevine and RingCentral – if not open to training
