Immediate need for a transactional Legal Secretary with experience doing contracts, sales agreements, land deals, etc. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ legal secretarial experience. Primary focus is on transactional work, including real estate and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Qualified applicants are required to be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must have superior attention to detail/proofreading skills. Under general supervision, the Legal Secretary performs secretarial tasks related to the specific work and function of assigned attorneys and other timekeepers. The Legal Secretary maintains a general knowledge of the Firm’s practice areas and a specialized knowledge of the assigned attorneys’ practice area(s) and clients.
