We’re looking for you to join our team as a Legal Secretary! In this essential role, you’ll support our attorneys and clients, ensuring smooth operations and the successful management of legal documents and processes.

What You’ll Do:

Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys, assisting with the preparation of legal documents, contracts, briefs, and correspondence.

Handle filings in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.

Manage schedules and calendars, coordinating meetings, depositions, and events.

Maintain and organize files, including client matters, court papers, and other records, with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Serve as a point of contact for clients and the public, offering assistance and information with professionalism and courtesy.

Process dictation and assist attorneys in drafting legal documents as needed.

Familiarize yourself with court processes and government entity procedures relevant to the practice area.

Perform additional tasks to support the department and assist in firm-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong writing and communication skills, with excellent spelling and grammar.

Proficiency in office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit your own work.

Solid organizational skills to set priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

A positive attitude and collaborative spirit to balance individual and group responsibilities.

Familiarity with legal procedures, processes, and terminology.

Prior experience in legal secretarial work, especially in litigation, is a plus!
