We're seeking a talented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our attorneys by managing a wide range of pre-trial litigation matters.
What you'll do:
Dive into the details: Become intimately familiar with the facts of each case, ensuring a deep understanding of its nuances and progress.
Master the legal landscape: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local court rules, leveraging your knowledge to effectively manage deadlines and attorney calendars.
Craft compelling legal documents: Draft, edit, and organize essential legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests, with precision and accuracy.
Prepare for key legal events: Assist in the meticulous preparation of depositions, mediations, and trials, including developing factual timelines, summarizing key documents, and organizing materials for optimal witness preparation.
Manage e-discovery with finesse: Oversee e-discovery projects, collaborate with internal and external teams, and ensure timely completion of discovery tasks.
Leverage cutting-edge technology: Utilize e-discovery platforms like Relativity and IRPO to efficiently manage data, conduct searches, and streamline the discovery process.
Collaborate effectively: Work seamlessly with attorneys, legal assistants, clients, and other stakeholders to foster strong working relationships and achieve shared goals.
What you'll need:
Paralegal certificate
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
Proficiency in e-discovery platforms (Relativity, IRPO)
Experience with Westlaw Precision and Westlaw Co-Counsel
Strong organizational and time management skills
A keen eye for detail and accuracy
A passion for problem-solving and innovative thinking
