We are looking for a seasoned paralegal with a passion for supporting complex litigation and trial preparation.
Our team is seeking a skilled professional to join a very successful practice in Tampa, FL.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-level cases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update client document databases, manage document production, and ensure seamless organization.
- Draft routine legal documents for attorney review, including compiling and preparing discovery responses.
- Review and analyze documents, responses, and records produced by opposing counsel.
- Coordinate and manage communications between multiple parties.
- Prepare for trials and depositions, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.
- Perform legal research using Westlaw and ensure proper Bluebook citation in legal documents.
- Handle electronic filings in state and federal courts.
Skills:
- Proficiency with document review tools (Relativity and CaseMap preferred).
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (iManage is a plus).
- Experience with time entry and client billing processes.
