We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal - The attorneys are also looking for a candidate with trial prep AND attendance experience.

Mid-sized Orlando law firm with a national presence is seeking a motivated, hardworking and knowledgeable litigation paralegal. Ideal candidate has 4 to 6 years of experience in civil litigation. Candidate must have an exceptional work ethic, be available to travel, and the ability to work well in a team environment. This position requires someone with a great attitude and exceptional attention to detail.

Duties include performing paralegal billable activities for multiple attorneys such as:
Obtain medical and other investigative records via authorizations and/or subpoenas
Review medical records and prepare detailed summaries
Calculate and track deadlines based on rules, judicial preferences, and/or client guidelines
Assist with preparing cases for trial including preparing witness and exhibit lists
Draft responses to basic discovery, pleadings and motions
Maintain production logs and clear, concise records of documents produced by all parties
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, inspections, and other case-related conferences
Interact with clients courteously and professionally with an emphasis on good client service
Work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Candidates should have excellent communication and writing skills; understand local, state and federal rules; be able to review, understand, and follow client guidelines; have experience with both e-filing (in local and federal courts) and e-service; and be a self-starter. Must also possess advanced software skills, particularly with the MS Office Suite. Total Office (f/k/a Client Profiles) experience preferred.
