Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury

Pay: $50,000 – $60,000 (Direct Hire)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in personal injury law to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case investigation to trial preparation. This position requires strong legal research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a caseload of 60+ cases effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case assessment, pre-trial preparation, and trial support.
Draft and review litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy in both physical and electronic filing systems.
Conduct legal research using statutes, case law, and legal publications to support case strategies.
Oversee the discovery process, including document production, privilege logs, and e-discovery assistance.
File legal documents with federal, state, and local courts, ensuring compliance with all deadlines.
Prepare deposition summaries, trial binders, and witness files.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to coordinate depositions and court appearances.
Draft and issue subpoenas and coordinate service of process.
Monitor and manage case deadlines, ensuring timely responses and filings.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
Proven ability to handle a caseload of 60+ cases.
Proficiency with LexisNexis, MS Office, and timekeeping software.
Familiarity with NC/SC court procedures preferred.
