Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Lockbox Processor to join their team! As a Lockbox Processor, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent service to our clients. You will play a critical role in the timely processing of financial transactions, which are essential for our clients’ banking needs. This is a long term contract opportunity.
We have several shift options-
1st 7:00 am-3:30pm
2nd 3:30 pm-12:00 am
3rd 7:00 pm-7:00 am( Must be available for an 8 hour shift within those hours)
Friday & Saturday-7am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Process incoming payments by scanning, sorting, and posting checks and other forms of payment into the lockbox system.
• Verify and ensure the accuracy of payment data, matching checks to appropriate customer accounts.
• Handle payment exceptions and discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate payment records in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy protocols when handling sensitive financial information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
• Address any customer inquiries or issues related to lockbox payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Contribute to the improvement of lockbox processing workflows and procedures.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or coursework a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in financial processing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial processing software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
