Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the shipping process to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international shipping and domestic shipping, and be familiar with the complexities of customs, tariffs, and global logistics.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and oversee the entire shipping process for both domestic and international shipments.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving shipping-related issues promptly.
-Prepare and review shipping documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and bills of lading.
-Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and communicate any delays to customers and internal stakeholders.
-Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth transport.
-Handle customer complaints and work to improve customer satisfaction in all shipping-related interactions.
-Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and customer transactions.
Qualifications:
Required: 2+ years of experience in customer service with a focus on shipping coordination, preferably in an international environment.
2-year degree preferred
Proficient in shipping software and MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of international shipping regulations, including customs and tariff requirements.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
