Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain and delivery processes. You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of products from suppliers to customers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficiency of the transportation network. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving logistical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolution of any delays or issues.
-Communicate with suppliers and third-party carriers to arrange pick-ups and deliveries.
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure stock availability.
-Maintain accurate shipping records, including invoices, bills of lading, and tracking information. Prepare regular logistics reports for management.
-Act as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers to resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies.
-Monitor transportation costs and recommend solutions to optimize shipping expenses.
-Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
-Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
-Education:
-A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Skills:
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS) and MS Office Suite
-Ability to analyze data and generate reports
-Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
