Garden Grove, CA: Logistics Coordinator needed for a well-known transportation company. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, who is very detailed, and self-motivated.
Ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum three to five years of relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of logistics and transportation processes
Supply chain knowledge
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations of the company to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products and materials.
Develop strategies, goals, and monitor improvements, including cost expenditures and savings as related to domestic, international, and intercompany import/export shipments.
Review, recommend, and negotiate with all vendors.
Provide forecasting for all modes of transportation.
Review and analyze transportation and customs regulations to include certificates of Origin, Free Trade Agreements, tariff codes, etc.
Audit transportation related documentation and procedures.
