Immediate need for a Logistics Clerk who has done routing out of a 3-PL or transportation company. Could possibly work into a lead position.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to process all orders and billing in an accurate and timely manner, making sure the customer is always kept informed and up to date on their requests.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process and input all customer inbound/outbound orders. Routing is required.
Coordinate special last-minute customer requests with Production, Receiving, Shipping and Inventory Departments in order to expedite orders as necessary.
Review the aged orders report from WMS every morning to identify orders that did not ship, then investigate and solve those issues.
Maintain a good relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries, complaints, and requests in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner.
Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files (Bill of Ladings, Manifests, OS&D’s, etc…).
Develop familiarity with other CSR’s accounts/customers in order to assist them when CSR is unavailable.
