We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound mail, package sorting, and delivery while utilizing chain-of-custody technology. This role is perfect for individuals who are comfortable being on their feet and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. No prior mailroom experience is required!

? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
?? Pay Rate: $16.59 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and sort inbound USPS and accountable packages.
• Check in and deliver USPS and accountable packages using chain-of-custody technology.
• Retrieve outbound USPS and packages from mail hubs.
• Create FedEx shipping labels as needed.
• Walk and stand for 4-6 hours per day while delivering packages within a two-building campus with multiple floors.
• Operate high-volume mail processing and scanning equipment.
• Ensure convenience copiers are functioning properly and assist with basic maintenance.
• Distribute office supplies, mail, and faxes to designated locations.
• Maintain records and logs for billing, inventory, and supply management.
• Perform filing duties, including archiving and document organization.
• Use office equipment such as postage meters, calculators, fax machines, and computers.
• Support additional clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Some related copy/mailroom experience is a plus, but not required.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with office equipment (printers, copiers, postage machines).
Ability to lift and move up to 50-55 lbs as needed.
Comfortable with walking, bending, reaching, and stretching for extended periods.
Ability to push/pull wheeled equipment for maintenance and transportation.
