Maintenance Engineer. Pay: starting rate of $28 or 29/hr for the first 90 days (probation phase) and then $32 thereafter.
Must have hands on maintenance experience, they are not open to someone who needs to be trained on any parts of the job. They want someone who is looking for stability and long-term employment. They will have the opportunity to grow. This person will report to the Chief Maintenance Officer. It's a total of 3 people on the maintenance team currently. They have 15 resident buildings that will keep this person busy every day, along with maintenance projects for all common areas. Must know how to drainpipes, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall, electrical, etc.

Maintenance duties are, but not limited to, daily maintenance tasks that include:
a. Maintaining the HOA common areas
b. Maintaining areas within residential units as directed
c. Respond to assigned work orders in a timely manner to address repairs to:
• Light fixtures
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Roof
• HVAC
• Water leaks
• Motors and related mechanical devices
• Cement
• Carpentry
REQUIRES Strong experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating, air conditioning and appliance repair is desired. Industry standard certifications in plumbing and electrical are required.
The position requires:
• interaction with residents and includes on-call responsibilities
• A high school education or equivalent is required
• Current driver's license and use of personal car
• Computer literacy in Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Moderate internal and external face-to-face and remote contacts (via telephone, e-mail, letter, etc.) with individuals or groups inside and outside the Company in a moderately unstructured setting (e.g., vendors, management, employees, and the Board of Directors)
