Location: Anaheim, CA 92807 (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $32 per hour
Schedule: Full time - 40 hours per week (1st/2nd/3rd shift available)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team, specializing in the maintenance of pasteurization, batching, filling equipment, sleever for labels, and unscrambler for bottles in a protein shake manufacturing environment. This role involves working with cold filling processes and managing various systems, including boilers, air compressors, wastewater containment, CIPs, electrical systems, and a chiller. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with pumps, valves, motors, and demonstrate a strong awareness of food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct proactive physical counts of spare parts inventory to ensure accuracy and availability, optimizing inventory management practices and minimizing downtime risks.
• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance (PMs) for equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Create, prepare, and close work orders in maintenance tracking systems such as UpKeep, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and associated costs.
• Utilize operators manuals, spare parts lists, and technical documentation to support maintenance planning and troubleshooting efforts.
• Communicate effectively with equipment operators and mechanics to identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of equipment-related problems.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to prioritize and schedule repair and maintenance tasks based on operational requirements and equipment availability.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all maintenance-related documentation and record-keeping activities.
• Manage the procurement of supplies and spare parts required for maintenance activities, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and reconciling invoices.
• Review and approve bills related to supplies and parts orders in bill.com, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in analyzing maintenance data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and raise hands to ask for approval when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in scheduling preventative maintenance (PMs) and managing work orders in maintenance tracking systems such as UpKeep or similar platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, and other related components.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting operators manuals, spare parts lists, and technical documentation to support maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with equipment operators, mechanics, and external vendors to facilitate maintenance activities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining maintenance records and documentation.

Experience repairing and performing maintenance on boilers, air compressors, wastewater containment, CIPs, electrical systems, and chillers.
