Summary: Maintenance personnel are responsible for conducting maintenance and upkeep of the entire facility, including factory equipment, machinery, and overall plant maintenance. Duties include preventive maintenance program activities, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems and supporting the facility to ensure maximum production quality and quantity while supporting company objectives. In the unlikely case that the Maintenance personnel is unable to perform his/her job responsibilities or abruptly leaves the company, the Maintenance Manager will cover to fulfill duties until the position is filled. The backup for maintenance employee is the Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for designated tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Participate in maintaining SQF Code Quality and Food Safety System. Assist in ensuring the integrity and continued operation of the food safety and quality system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities. • Complete maintenance work order and preventive maintenance activities • Assist Maintenance Manager with external contractors and vendors. • Maintain inventory of maintenance materials, supplies and repair parts • Maintains knowledge of current and emerging trends in the industry, including all relevant areas of information systems that might be incorporated as new technologies into future systems. • Conducts activities regarding to dismantling, moving, installing and/or repairing of equipment and machinery.
