Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage medical billing for LAUSD-related services.
Review and ensure accuracy of billing documentation and coding.
Work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and LAUSD staff regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical billing, specifically for LAUSD
Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing software, and healthcare regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
