Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care and excellent customer service? Join our team as a Medical Receptionist and be the friendly face that welcomes patients while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our practice.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience.
Schedule and confirm appointments for diagnostic tests, surgeries, and medical consultations.
Verify patient insurance, process referrals, and complete pre-certifications.
Answer and route phone calls professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charts, and correspondence.
Operate office equipment and manage software tools to prepare reports, invoices, and other documents.
Complete insurance forms and assist patients with intake and documentation processes.
Transmit medical records and correspondence via mail, email, or fax as needed.
Receive and route critical messages, including lab results, to the appropriate staff promptly.
Support billing processes by utilizing electronic medical records systems effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong knowledge of billing and electronic medical records systems.
Excellent office and phone etiquette.
Proficiency in office software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
A friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
