Position: Medical Technologist (ASCP)
Location: Carolina
Salary: $46,800 annually
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Classification: Regular/Permanent
Position Summary:This role combines laboratory expertise with technical support in software applications used in clinical settings. The specialist will conduct lab tests and also support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of auxiliary applications to support medical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform clinical lab tests (blood, urine, etc.) following protocols.
Operate lab equipment and ensure timely and accurate test results.
Provide technical support and training for auxiliary software applications.
Implement and maintain lab-related software systems.
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Document test results and application-related solutions.
Collaborate across departments to align tools with operational needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, or related fields.
ASCP certification as Medical Technologist.
Experience in clinical lab and technical support.
Basic programming and database management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
