Leading company in the manufacturing, distribution and installation of doors and windows is hiring "Occupational Health Nurse" to cover a maternity leave
TEMPORARY JOB (3 MONTHS)
LOCATION: Barceloneta, PR
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
SALARY: $11.50 P/H
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
-Risk analysis to determine the personal protective equipment necessary in different work areas
-Provide assistance in the development and implementation of effective and safe work procedures to minimize risks of accidents, injuries or occupational illnesses
-Maintains record of recordable incidents (OSHA Recordables) and incidents
-Conduct health and safety audits (use of PPE, safe work practices)
-Provides first aid assistance in cases of accidents and injuries
-Maintain inventory of medications and first aid equipment following established procedures
-Coordinate and carry out the procedures to refer cases of occupational and non-occupational diseases to the relevant Agencies (FSE, SINOT & FLMA)
REQUIREMENTS:
-Certification/Licensed as a Nurse Practical and/or Current Certification as a Paramedic or First Aid
-3 years of experience as an Emergency Responder, Paramedic or Nursing
-Experience in Medical License management (FSE, SINOT, FLMA, etc)
-Ability to move or handle up to 25 pounds of weight without assistance
-Bilingual Spanish and English
