Office Manager with High-end Construction Company
Position Summary:
The Office Manager will oversee office operations and handle bookkeeping for a small construction company. This includes managing office supplies, supporting project teams, and ensuring accurate financial records for projects, payroll, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Office Management:
• Coordinate office operations, including supplies, equipment, and communication between teams.
• Schedule meetings, site visits, and maintain organized documentation (contracts, permits, change orders).
• Supervise administrative staff and assist with compliance requirements.
Bookkeeping:
• Track and allocate project costs (materials, labor, equipment), process invoices, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Handle biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy for hourly and union workers.
• Prepare financial reports, monitor project budgets, and track cash flow.
• Reconcile bank accounts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with audits.
• Ensure timely tax filing (sales, payroll, construction-specific taxes).

Qualifications:
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in office management and bookkeeping, preferably in construction.
• Skills:
o Proficient in Sage construction accounting software.
o Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
o Familiar with payroll and tax regulations in construction.

• Primarily in-office with occasional work from home with prior approval.
• Some overtime may be required during busy periods.
