We’re seeking an On-Call Mailroom Associate to join our Client Services team to cover sick days, emergencies, vacations from current employees. Reporting to the Client Services Supervisor or Manager, this role involves providing exceptional mail, shipping, and receiving services while maintaining professionalism and operational excellence.
You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of inbound/outbound mail, package distribution, and business service center functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Deliver 5-star customer service to all employees and clients through prompt and courteous communication.
• Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute inbound mail/packages; manage outgoing mail and packages.
• Operations: Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, photocopiers, and folding/inserting machines.
• Shipping/Receiving: Perform shipping and receiving duties, notify employees of deliveries, and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish office supplies; maintain a clean and orderly business service center area.
• Support Functions: Provide reception, concierge, or hospitality coverage as needed; train backups and assist with sensitive inquiries.
• Administrative Tasks: Submit work orders, send emails, and handle office equipment efficiently.

Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working knowledge of office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain professionalism.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years of prior work experience (preferred).
• Availability for assigned work hours as determined by the manager.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional demeanor and adherence to company policies.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to grasp, lift, or move packages up to 60 lbs. with a standard wheeled cart.
• Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and standing.
• Manual dexterity for operating office machinery.
• Clear communication and comprehension using vision, hearing, and oral/written skills.
