Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and dependable On-Call Temporary Floater to assist with mailroom duties. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the mailroom, ensuring the timely and accurate sorting, distribution, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing mail. This position offers flexibility with varying hours based on business needs, making it ideal for individuals seeking temporary, on-call work.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, distribute, and organize incoming and outgoing mail.
Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized mailroom area.
Assist with office supply inventory and restocking as needed.
Provide general administrative support as requested.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and move mail and packages up to 25 lbs.
Previous mailroom or office experience is a plus, but not required.
Must be available on short notice and able to work flexible hours.
