Onsite Data Entry Clerk – Accounts Payable
Location: Irving, TX 75038
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Are you detail-oriented with recent data entry experience? We are hiring a Data Entry Clerk to support the Accounts Payable department for one of our clients, a leading company in the construction industry. If you have a background in data entry, billing, or clerical work, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
-Handle and distribute incoming mail related to accounts payable.
-Process utility bills and coordinate service shut-offs as needed.
-Audit lien releases submitted with payment requests.
-Research and resolve trade partner inquiries regarding billing and payments.
-Submit void requests when necessary.
-Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
-At least one year of recent experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Billing Clerk, or similar role.
-High school diploma or GED required.
-Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
-Familiarity with JD Edwards is a plus.
-Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
-Ability to follow work procedures, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Reliable with good attendance and punctuality.
